Taste
The product has a clean bland taste, free from sour, bitter, rancid, oxidised or other objectionable flavours.
Appearance
Uniform straw yellow colour.
Packaging
Packed in steel drums of net weight 200kg. Also supplied in bulk tankers of about 20 tonnes net. The drums and bulk tankers are flushed with an inert gas prior to filling with product.
Storage
Product in 200kg drums may be stored at ambient temperatures.
Transport
Transported in 20 foot containers or in bulk tankers of food grade standards.
Shelf Life
Approximately 12 months from date of production when stored under appropriate conditions.
Applications
Used as a food ingredient in bakery, confectionery, ice-cream, other consumer products and for recombination with skimmed milk powder to produce liquid milk and other milk products.
